BIO
Tyler grew up in a small town of 10,000 people in Butler, AL. He never imagined growing up that he would end up leading a team of revenue experts in an office setting; he wanted to be a Broadway Performer!
He found his calling at age 18 applying for a part-time front desk job at a small Fairfield Inn. He always enjoyed staying at hotels and hearing about how his parents met at a hotel they both worked at-there was something special about hotels and what they offered folks. He wanted to be a part of that; serving others and offering an experience like no other.
Years go by; retail, restaurants, bars all experienced and nothing felt quite like the hotel industry in serving people in that unique way. He finds himself back in Alabama and working at a Hampton Inn, where he applies for a role with Hilton Corporate. He then relocated with his soon to be husband, Zane Parks, to Dallas, TX to start his journey in hotel revenue management.
He served just over 3 years with the Hilton RMCC, where he oversaw an accumulative total of 70 hotels during that time. His resilience and capabilities were recognized by his leaders and amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic was returned within the first 5 to come back from furlough.
After 1.5 years of serving during the pandemic, Tyler sought out bigger opportunities and landed his current role with Shamin Hotels as Area Revenue Manager and has built himself up to Area Director of Revenue and has continued to seek out growth in his role and expertise over the past 3+ years with Shamin Hotels.
A Quick Word
Welcome to the intersection of innovation and hospitality excellence! With over 15 years in the industry, I’ve turned challenges into opportunities and visions into results. From leading dynamic hotel and food and beverage operations for nearly a decade to mastering the art and science of revenue management over the past six+ years, my journey is defined by a passion for growth and transformation. Recognized as the Top Hospitality Executive by Marquis Who's Who in America (October 2024) and a nominee for Shamin Hotels’ Top Sales and Marketing Professional (April 2024 & 2025), I bring a unique blend of creativity, strategy, and heart to every project. As a Certified Hotel Revenue Manager (CHRM), I craft bold strategies that redefine success and drive sustainable growth.

Travel often...For every destination is more than a mere endpoint; it is a threshold to new discoveries, experiences, and ways of seeing the world.

The Strategic Edge
Deemed as a revenue expert, I do specialize in niche sectors of hotel RM that have made up the foundations of my own and my hotels' successes.
Effective Forecasting
Blending the best of hands-on insight and modern systems, I developed what I call the Effective Forecasting Method. It moves beyond tedious manual reporting and avoids overreliance on automated tools—striking a strategic balance between data and human context. This approach is rooted in years of experience and one core belief: your on-property team is the most valuable asset in building an accurate, actionable forecast.
Diversifying Mix of Sales
It’s easy to chase ADR—but sustainable growth comes from a well-balanced mix. Relying too heavily on one or two segments leaves you vulnerable to shifts in demand. The most resilient strategies diversify the sales funnel, ensuring every channel and segment contributes meaningfully to your topline. By rebalancing yield strategies and optimizing mix, I’ve seen consistent gains in both performance and flexibility—even in unpredictable markets.
Our Location
